I'm stumped. Looking for a Nanny cam type device for my bedroom and get a alert if there's motion and then I can view who enters. The problem is that once a month I am out of the country and need to view it there as well.
Please lead me in the right direction.i need it all set up by mid June. Leaving for business.

There are options to tag motion so you see it in a green box. I get false motion alerts from moths in the garage and tree shadows sometimes. I do not have those set to send me notifications, so no biggie. They do show up in the events log. You can set the sensitivity and detection zone as well. I believe you can get them at Home Depot if you want to try one out. Put it as far away from a garage door opener as you can, ours caused a bit of interference. They do lose internet connection once in a while, but it hasn't happened to the cameras in a while. More of the newer wifi plugs they have.

No monthly fees?
I'm ready to pull the trigger on this or the other one the 1st member recommended. Thanks

I have the Wyze V2's in my shop and they're linked to an app on my phone. They broadcast in HD and color, plus have the option to "hear" noise, and you can talk back through the camera to whomever is there. I keep a 32 GB card in them. I've never had any interference issues with my shop door openers, but your mileage may vary. About once every 3-4 months, I might have one that loses connection, but it's rare. The only downfall IMO is that if someone knows it's there, it can be unplugged, so keep that in mind.

Comparison, I quickly glanced at fees, there is absolutely no fees for Eufy, unless you want the cloud storage.
All storage can be done on local storage, sounds like Wyze probably is the same.
I have a Eufy doorbell, several cameras along with my moms doorbell camera all monitored on my phone with no charge.

No. You can pay extra for extra services such as "person detection", which filters out all movement notifications except people. More of an option for outdoor use cameras.

Mine is from amazon, I can rotate it and view from my phone, forget the brand, I can even speak through it - I used it to watch my puppy, yelling at her to stop chewing things was great.

Does anyone know if you can view the Wyze V3 overseas on your phone?
I'll be using a Southern Cypress Sim card.

There is NO monthly fee with Wyze. They do have a pay service if you want cloud storage. As mentioned, they accept a SD card so you can record events. I have been using them at 2 locations 1500 miles apart since 2018 with only issue is them needing to be rebooted a couple times, (unplug and plug back in). Great for Nanny type cam, less so for top security cam.

32GB gives me about 3 days of continuous storage. Think you can go bigger, but make sure it's compatible with the camera. Would have to look up what will work in it.
