If price is not that big of a concern, i am very happy with the Griffen aluminum read I put in my 68 b body. I got the direct replacement one and painted it black with radiator paint. . It looks close to stock without tank numbers. Brackets welded to rad and bolt exactly like stock. It has (2) 1-1/4” cooling rows and keeps my rb stroker cool on hot days. I use the factory shroud which bolts up exactly like stock. Very impressed with quality.

Use the corresponding 22" core and have the inlet/out setup for a big block. Then have a heavy duty high density 4 core put in it. 67-69 Big Block 383 core radiators (tanks w/straps) are big buck for a the stamped numbers.
This one was done by Glen Ray radiator. It doesn't have a shroud because the 68 Super Stock weren't delivered with one.
It's driven on the street often with not overhead issues and a 472 Hemi automatic.

I will look into the Griffen and Glen Ray radiators. I don't care if there are any numbers on it as the car is not original anyway but I will also look around for a factory big block radiator. I have a related cooling question as well. As far as the fan/clutch go, I was planning on using a Mopar Performance viscous fan kit I have in my collection of parts. It is the kit with the five blade fan. Will the five blade fan work well or should I go with a factory seven blade fan? I don't think you'll have enough room for that clutch fan. The BB A body cars are usually really short of space unless you've made modifications. Have you ever had this car together or is this the first time? I used a 26 inch radiator in my Duster and I found room for a clutch fan, but I had to move a lot of stuff around.

I had mine custom made for my car. Included a shroud and 2 Derale electric fan. Keeps my street/strip car cooler on the street than my more stock street cars. I added -20 aluminum bungs for the upper and lower hoses and a -6 for the over flow.
