Life continues to get in the way but I managed to move forward on the 541. At this point I need to change a couple plugs on the EFI harness and the wee beastie will be ready to fire. It really feels silly to put this engine in that car but I guess that the kind of thing I'm known for. The whole mess makes me smile and that's all that really matters.

A 5.9 was in consideration for some time. Hacking 3 inches out of the oil pan would make it fit.
Those cars you mentioned are smaller than the Imp but they do, indeed, float down the road. When it comes to a collision, I'm afraid the car would survive much better than the occupants. I tend to be wary of being T-boned in the Imp. That half height B pillar will lay down and I'd have the offending vehicle sitting in my lap.

Every time I look at one of those beasts I have to stare at the front fenders and smile at the unbelievable length I love those cars!
