I am thining the herd of 340 motors I have been stashing away. I will post pics of each year in each photo post below. I get really good shipping rates so shipping will not be a problem. They have gone up some recently but have shipped motors from Fl to NY for as low as $150.00 in the past. All prices are plus shipping.

Here is the info and the prices:

1) 1970 motor Vin Number 0B 360693 I am told originally from a Duster. Motor is total apart and is a complete long block, no oil pan, windage tray or intake. Does have J heads and steel crank. Block is std bore but #8 cylinder has a groove in it from something. what you see in pics is what you get. $1000.00

2) 1971 Motor Vin Number 1B274393 I am told originally from a Cuda. Motor is a complete motor intake to pan. I believe it is std bore. Does have J Heads and steel crank. Motor was running when pulled to put a crate 380 Hp Magnum Motor in. Turns over free and has been stored correctly. $2000.00

3) 1972 Motor Vin Number 2B350039 I am not sure what it came out of. Motor is complete intake to pan with dizzy. Does have J Heads and Steel crank with crack pulley and balancer. Motor turns over free and has been stored correctly. $1800.00

4) 1972 motor Vin Number 2B501431 I am not sure what it came out of. This motor is a absolutly complete all numbers matych 340 carb to pan, exhaust manifolds and all a/c parts and dizzy and all pulleys. does have J heads. Motor is locked up and that is how it was when I found it. I do also have the matching numbers 727 tranny for aditional money. Motor complete $1500.00

5) 1973 motor Vin 3B545223 This is a complete rebuilt motor that has never been fired. Heads, valves, pistons all brgs and cam. Was not bagged so has had humity surface build up and ends of valves in exhaust ports. Does have J heads. $2000.00

SOLD: a pair of Edelbrock Small Block Mopar Heads, with some upgraded parts, some minimal port work (Hensley Performance), surface cut and minor fixes, valve job (Brian Hafliger IMM)
These heads were sold to me in September 2008 by Moparts member Irun5snd8th (then Irun6snd8th). They had some minor damage in a couple of places. Irun5snd8th said the heads had Manley valves, and dual valve springs with dampers. According to him, Hensley Performance did some minor work in the shroud around the valves and port matched the intake and exhaust ports.
In October 2008 Brian Hafliger at Indio Motor Machine (IMM), did a surface cut and some minor repairs, did a valve job and tested the springs and said they were set at 1.875 installed height, they measure 131 lbs. on the seat and 300 lbs. open pressure at .500 lift.
After receiving the heads they were stored in my closet for a future engine build that never happened.
I would like to sell the pair locally in Southern California for $1200.

……………SOLD………………….Offy duel plane “360” intake manifold, 273-318, it’s in good shape however a small piece on the edge of the carb pad by the one of the studs is chipped. It’s not into the threads. Came off a running 318 that had no sealing issues.

The correct 6319 thermoquad, choke, oil pan, timing cover, valve covers, bolts, hardware and trinkets are all there. Engine or original bore and IS APART so everything can be inspected. This for a 273, it is single plane cast Iron OEM, the 273 is unique, in that the mounting bolts have a different angle than the 318, 340 & 360 engines, it also has smaller ports sized for the 273.It ran fine when I removed and installed an Alum dual plane. You should be able to make out the casting number I hope. Must be gone before end of month. $100, $20 to pack, PU is OK, its in SW Fla, you pay shipping/insurance.
