Ok , so Ive searched the entire internet and watched 284 youtube videos and have no solution.

2004 Ram 1500 . Alarm goes off intermittently when opening driver door with key.
I have the gray Ram key , no sort of fob or alarm buttons / unlock ( i will post a pic )

If i stick key in and turn ign = alarm stops. Its random though and driving me insane. About to cut the horn wires.

How can i disable the alarm ?????? I dont need or want it . I thought there would be a relay or fuse to pull , but is there ????

On my sons '98 Dakota w/ aftermarket entry/alarm and on my '99 4Runner w/ port or dealer installed entry/alarm, turning the key twice when unlocking it disables it. He found this out after losing the only fob that came with his truck. When he told me about it, I tried it on mine (even though I have 3 fobs) and it worked for it also. When I have a chance I plan to go into his and find the brand then either get him new fobs or remove it.

I believe the key has a chip in it that allows the alarm to be disabled when unlocking the door. The module in the door may not be picking it up. Have you tried the passenger door to unlock it?
