I used the lube that came with my Howards cam. I also used the additive for the oil that they supplied with the cam kit. So far so good shruggy

The use the cam lube that the cam and lifters come with up

After lubing it up correctly during install - The biggest favor you can do to keep your flat tappet cam healthy is to run an oil with zinc or use a zinc additive at each oil change.

I've used ARP moly lube and the red stuff that comes w/ the Comp Cams. I've been using the Driven break in oil also. No issues.
