Are the rotating parts, crank assembly, internal or external balanced? If external make sure the converter has the weights on it to match your motor, if not don't worry about it. I would look for and use a 11 inch stock converter for a big car like a C body or a 2 barrel B body BB motor I'm talking about a converter that would foot stall from 2000 RPM up to a max of 2600 RPM and still work well at part light throttle driving

The rotating parts are internally balanced.
I have these three torque converters that came along with big block 727's I have purchased over the years. I have no idea if they are originals or aftermarket as there is very little marked on them, no brands or part numbers. The only things I see are the one on the right has 764 stamped in it as well as written on it and it has a capital A with a capital R connected to the A stamped into it. It also has a V and a G stamped on the backside. The middle one with the yellow cap has 764 written on it with a black marker and a sticker on it that most of the printing is worn off of other than the word stall. The one on the left has the numbers 17 and 3 and an odd symbol that looks like Y. Do any of these things mean anything? Also, is there any way torque converter can be tested at a trans. shop to see what they stall at? THOSE ALL LOOK LIKE 340 "HI STALL" 10 3/4 INCH CONVERTERS... ABOUT 2200-2400 ..GREAT ALL AROUND UNITS....I USE EM IN EVERYTHING

Post a pic of the front for each converters.
And a pic of the stamped numbers may help ID them. The one on the left being turquoise looks more like a big block converter.
And you can’t “test” a converter without a test stated.

764 is a rebuild industry number for the factory 2801764 hi-stall 11" converter.

I was going to say, put a tape measure on them. If they are a 340 hi-stall, and you put it behind a warm stroked big block, they will flash higher than they did behind the 340. As recommended. try to make sure nothing is wrecked inside and they didn't come out of a trans that was wrecked. A little oil, a little agitation, and see what comes out the drain plug.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

"If you can take a good clear shot in each converter the stator may have some ID on it that can help you determine stall speed.
Post some pics and I’ll see if it will help."
I was going to take pics but I looked inside and there is no i.d.
"I was going to say, put a tape measure on them."
They all measure 11" and 13" across the ring gear. The ID I am talking about is not numeric or alphanumeric. It’s a series of marks. The ring gear doesn’t represent size, the impeller does. The “donut”.
