Are ALL pulleys different between a car with PS and one without? Considering adding PS since my manual box is trash. Sucks steering with manual... but researching leads me to believe all pulleys are different. That adds up to a chunk of money in pulleys alone for the swap.

Had a Hemi RR with manual everything for 33 years, with 265/50s in front on 15x8s. Great to drive, but parallel parking was a bit of a workout To convert to PS, there's the pump, pulleys, box & column, but most of that won't have the Hemi surcharge. I have a very nice manual box in the B-body ads if it matters...

why didn't the hemi use the belt and pulley system used on the B/RB engine ? do the heads extend that much farther forward of the water pump housing mounting surface ? i have never worked on one, [hemi] so please excuse my ignorance.
