It depends on the rocker arm used if you need through the pushrod oiling or through the adjuster oiling to the pushrod tip scope
Some of the high end extruded aluminum shaft mounted rocker arms use oiling through the adjuster in different ways, some have several threads missing for the oil passage and others machine it in the rocker arm adjuster hole scope

I'm using Stage V 426 Hemi lifters and need to order the adjusting screws. Thank you Cab I understand now!

Many use a "squirter" hole in the side of the rocker body - aimed in the general direction of the pushrod and in many cases the spring as well. Harland Sharp do not squirt oil at the spring but they do squirt at the pushrod tip. If you're oiling through the pushrod then there's no need at all for any additional holes in the rockers or adjusters. Keep in mind that every place you allow oil to flow equals a reduction in oil pressure.

I'm still confused because Stage V doesn't make lifters. I'm assuming he's talking about Stage V rockers. So if that's the case, all the Stage V rockers made in the last 10 or 15 years have oiling holes so he doesn't need to worry about it.

Thru oiling adjusters are used with spray bar oiling only. I did this on my SB with T&D's. You rely on the oil spray to hit the pushrod tips. It works surprisingly well. They call it "spray and pray". I now use HS rockers with pushrod oiling. They oil all the way to the rocker fulcrum and work very well.

In addition you need to make certain that the Lube hole in the rocker is above the top of the PR cup

So why would you need oil thru adjuster's, if its shooting oil from the hole in the rocker onto the top of the pushrod?

Added oil to the ball/cup interface. My seat pressure is 340 lbs and 650lbs open. Without the oil hole on the adjuster, Tuneup time and 10 passes blackened two cups and wore half of the adjusters. Replaced the adjusters only with the through hole and over 50 passes no issues starting the season with the same parts as last season.

I bought a used set of B1 heads that had a set of Jesel 1.7 ratio paired shaft rocker arms on them, no provisions in those rocker arms to oil the roller tip or the pushrod tips, shafts and adjuster ends shock
The adjusters are hollow for pushrod oiling, I called Jesel and they said run it, you'll be fine with pushrod oiling only on that set up confused shruggy
I'm going to use a set of spray bar valve covers at first and see how the two work together luck
More to come soon wrench

Thanks for the Suggested suppler and part#, I called Manton and was surprised on how knowable & helpful the People are there.
After a brief conversation, We agreed that the part number you suggested would be the same one for my application. Also I was told that if there are any issues an exchange would not be a problem. Shipped within an hour after ordering!

Kudos to Manton for their customer service. up

Just wanted to add, That I tried my local Supplier First (TREND PERFORMANCE) The sales guy kept for some reason directing me to a cup style Adjuster, I insisted I wanted a Ball end, And was then told they are out of stock. So I ask what the lead time would be, And was told maybe January shruggy
