I just located a picture while doing a E-body door lock search and that's what it appears to be...

That’s the part that the little chrome lock lever inside the well of the armrests on e bodies bolts to.

Yup, the parts book have an odd & even number for it. I sold my pictured one and IIRC the buyer specifically asked for a driver's side one.
