A39Coronet OP super stock A Joined: Dec 2016 Posts: 1,111 Usa	Installed a restored Tic Tok Tach in my 440 RR but remembered it no longer has a ballast resistor on the ignition due to not having a points style distributor. Any reason why this would be an issue or negatively impact the tach? Moparite super stock M Joined: Jan 2021 Posts: 971 rust belt	" tach's" count the many times a "ground" pulse is given to determine RPM. It will still work with points,MSD or electronic ignition.
