Yeah, well, they put them in everything these days. You can't be stuck in the purple cam shaft days forever. Eventually you have to see what others are up to.......What I thought was interesting was +30psi and just a shade over 1000hp....Seems like they were getting nowhere quick with all that boost...Sounded wicked...

Well, at least it is not another fox body Mustang. Not a fan of the Camaro Synergy green or the LS power but a nicely built car.

Could of achieved the same results with a G3 Hemi and not devalued the car like it did with an LS. But, I guess if you like cheap and cookie cutter then there is always LS.

Same here, as soon as I saw it was LS powered I was done.

Comparing using Mopar power to a purple shaft cam is just hilarious.

There's modern Mopar technology that works really well and has set records so why would anyone want to LS swap a Mopar???????

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

To make things worse. I know someone that put a 5.0L Coyote in a 71' Road Runner.

Here's one of the comments that was posted:

Dan Myers: "We Ford fans had to accept engine transplants in race cars long ago. The majority of Fox body race cars (like John’s) have running GM power plants for years. Hard to argue with success. LS engines flat out make more power for the dollar and are better supported for parts than modern Hemi engines."

could have done the same thing to a 6.4 with drop in forged pistons and made more power. I was reading about one the other day that made 580 HP on an engine dyno without pulling the valve covers, just a wilson modded tall mopar intake intake and blackjack long tube headers and a carb. Heck I bet 30PSI would be way over 1000 hp at the rear wheels with an efficient drivetrain.

The KSR Youtube channel has a clean little early Dart they've been building for a while. (Everything Kevin and crew builds is exceptionally clean and innovative. He's the one that built the Mullet El Camino for Cleetus McFarland).

Unfortunately it's a turbo LS as well but it GETS DOWN! His redemption comes from the fact that he tunes and maintains an SCCA championship winning Viper.

You guys are funny.....Its just a video.

I can remember all the guys that hated Dominator for having a BBC in his Dart....Nobody beotches now that he has a Noonan Hemi in it...Not everyone has the deep pockets, and some people just use what they have. I would love to hear what the back story is on the car....And I doubt it will be the last Chevy powered Mopar I see at the track.....

I used to love watching a 70 Charger run down our track in 8's...Car really ran well, and hardly had the hood off it. One day I got a look at it, and it was a 632 BBC...Kinda funny as I recall thinking what Mopar power package runs that good down into the 8's that can be bracket raced every week....Well, I got my answer.

Been tempted more than once by the BBC. My boss was showing off Canfield ported heads and a tunnel ram the other day and the flow numbers were insane.

The Hate Tank Roadrunner is another one that supposedly has a BBC and twins and will lift the front wheels at half track no problem!

Pretty easy LOTS of them do. You just have to have the smarts to make it happen, it isnt really anymore money. I have both so yes I know what I am talking about shruggy

Indeed.
Mustangs helped start the LS swap phenomenon. 302s would split down the middle and guys would drop in an LS.

The LS is the aftermarket darling. You can get good parts dirty cheap.

I'm still not a fan of the swap.
