Thanks for the feedback! I also thought the $10 parking fee on top of the $15 entrance fee is a little steep.

Did you like the Friday / Saturday schedule in place of the Saturday / Sunday?

Anyone notice people packing up early on Saturday to head home?

Had a good time. Sold a lot of stuff and found a carb I'd been looking for a long time.
It seemed the crowds were a bit thin both days, but the people who were there were ready to buy.
Friday was pretty busy.
Saturday sales went dead early morning-that's why the small vendors were leaving
Not a big fan of the Friday-Saturday schedule, but it makes economic sense

I prefer Sat and Sunday and I didn’t go this year. I figured Friday would be the best day and the deals would be picked over by Saturday and this time of year is hard to get away on a Friday.

Dad said he talked to a few vendors that said they did really well on Friday. Dad was just there Saturday and headed home after.

Saturday crowd was stronger than any Sunday in recent memory. On a side note, one of my fellow mopar fans backed into the front of my 300c and broke the chrome trim under the left headlight. Looks like somebody also set something on the roof and then dragged it off scratching the hell out of the roof. Thanks Nut Tugger!

I got there around 9:30 on Friday. I thought the crowds were light compared to previous Saturdays, but crowd seemed to pick up some by the time I let around 11:30. I had fun and picked up some small stuff.

I was there Friday. I agree on the parking and admission costs being steep. I can see charging 1 or the other, but NOT both. and for whoever asked, Hughes was there 2 years ago. I didn't go last year. I don't know what it cost to set up there, but I'm guessing that played a part in pricing.
More LD4b and LD340 intakes than I have ever seen at 1 swap. not as much truck stuff, as 2 years ago.
I didn't like having to park in the infield so far away. I dunno if or how I could have driven around something/somewhere to get to the lot on the other side, where I parked last time.
I did like seeing some of the cars that were in the back building!!!!
most parts I was interested in, were pretty salty in pricing. though I didnt see much I went there for this time.
$800 for an 8-3/4 chunk? Cmon..... Really?

We got there about 11:30ish Saturday morning. We were directed to Park in the infield, but got "lost" and ended up by the back fence in front of the pavillion. Didn't see anything there I needed. Patrick had parts ordered from Stephens. We ended up back by the horse track to get them.

What did you consider "early"? smile We started packing about 3pm. Crowds had dropped off by then like the end of any show and we had a long drive home. We always stop packing to help anyone with a question or who is looking for product.

Overall a GREAT show. Crowds "seemed" light. In the past the lobby would get so full that it looked like people were gonna bust the doors down. But even with light, or a better way to put it, steady foot traffic we had out best show ever.

Thanks to all that stopped by or purchased.

Glad you guys were there!
I did buy a few small things from you (Of course I realize I forgot a few things I needed when I got home) mad

Overall it was a well run show with good foot traffic both days - I sold quite a bit and was very happy.

As far as being told "We can't leave" That's wrong.
We were told specifically we could not line up our trucks/trailers outside the doors before 4pm.

When I saw the same people walking by for the 3rd time without seeming interested in anything - that was my clue to start packing up and simply wheeled my stuff out to my truck at about 2pm.

Thanks to Indy Cylinder heads and to all who made this show possible.

IF I have enough stuff, I'll be back next year.

Wally.

I sold 3/4 of the stuff I brought, all the heavy stuff was gone by noon on Saturday! boogie The word I got was the people who took off work on Friday to come find the parts they needed were very happy, those that didn't came on Saturday and some were disappointed. Seems if you need something you better take off on Friday from now on, as I hope they keep this Friday/Saturday thing and not revert back to Saturday/Sunday. luck
