5.7 motor with Holley PS pump
Always thought you wanted at least 25% of the pulley covered by belt?
Water pump looks much less, I guess it works that way from the factory?

Thx for the confirmation, didn't seem right to me either.
The thing that made me question it, is the Holley instructions for the PS pump install.
They specify a serpentine belt that is 6" too long, luckily I measured before ordering.

Oh well, on to the next step of this project, at this rate I'll have it finished by Christmas.

The common lore says that 60° (one-sixth) of the pulley diameter needs to be in contact with the belt.

A water pump has much less load than a PS pump or even freon compressor, that contact will spin it up just fine.

I know you've already gotten the confirmation you needed, BUT...I looked at 2010 Charger police and looks exactly like yours.
