Anyone got any experience with them? Front shock selection for the F/J/M crowd are real slim pickings and I'm looking for an adjustable shock. They're the only place that I can see that still has active part numbers for my application. They're pricey, so I just wanted to get some feedback if at all possible before ordering. Thanks.

IMO, weld two smallish tabs on the bottom of the control arm where the shock mounts, drill them to allow bolts to pass through, and use 1st generation Camaro shocks. Much greater selection and price range.

I run a set on my Dakota and love em.
I would call and see what they recommend for your car as they may be able to valve a set for your needs.
After I got my set dialed in unhooking the rear sway bar made very little difference in body lean even on abrupt cornering.

I run them on the back of my '63 330.

They work great for both the strip and, after changing settings, it rides like a Cadillac.

We use the Crusaders (for over 600 hp cars).

'63 Dodge 330
11.19 @ 121 mph
Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs.
10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

I suggest to give Viking a call. They have a new shock line called BISERKERS... completely double-adjustable as with all of their shocks (via easy twisting of knobs).

I've bought the BISERKERS for the rear of my Challenger... replacing the old red KONI D (single adjustables... disconnect and twisting required)... haven't yet driven on the street or tracks (autocross or road race)... will do so this spring season!

Viking has a very good data base (on-line) for different ride heights of cars (such as lowered,, etc).. making the choices fairly easy. I intend to further replace my upfront QA1 front shocks (double-adjustables) so to better suite my lowered ride height.... using Vikings (QA1 shocks are for a common standard ride height... they are very good, but my concern is with the lowered and reduced shock travel distance).

Mopar Mitch "Road racers and autocrossers go in deeper and come out harder!"... and rain never stops us from having fun with our cars... in fact, it makes us better drivers! Check out MOPAR ACTION MAGAZINE, August 2006 issue for feature article and specs on my autocross T/A!

I was just looking at them last night too. You're right....slim pickens. I was back to considering KYB's with the lack of choices.

Facts are stubborn things.

Again, it is a very minor mod required that will allow the use of 1st generation Camaro shocks. Spend an afternoon making changes, and it opens up a big wide world of shock options and prices. Its not hard, just requires some welding.

Unfortunately, I never documented the exact steps to accomplish this change. This is the only picture I can find of it.

I've also put standard leaf springs and rear shock mounts in them as well.

Back in 2004 Hot Rod Magazine had an AHB Diplomat as one of their project cars and did exactly what you're recommending. The Vikings are $400 (actually cheaper than what I paid for the non-adjustable Bilsteins that I have now). I'll shop around and see what something comparable from the first gen F body cars goes for.

Now, off to call Viking to check on options.

Thanks everyone!

LMFAO, I'll swap the entire engine cradle out before I go back to KYB.
