Do I call them direct, or should I call one of the engine builders.....Need a cam maybe one step more than my current Comp cam.

It really depends if you want everything possible out of your complimenting parts. Typically like jetting, my experience is you can be 'one step' OFF in cam selection and the car will run the same, given the assumption you'll move the cam and wring everything out of the combo. From my one experience with Bullet, someone will interview YOU before they grind so, you will either benefit or suffer depending on YOUR abilities. I think of the camshaft as 'the brain' of an engine. Sometimes it's better to concede to a higher authority, either way ideally , YOU LEARN.

I have called them twice , taken the oral exam twice and been very happy with the results both times.

if its a off the shelf cam your all set if its a custom grind , talked to them last week core blanks on back order big block solid tappet

I have a Bullet cam in my recent 367 build, my engine builder gave them the specs on the motor and they made the cam in a week or so.

Pretty much all we use..All custom.
