I have installed a 2011 5.7 in a 1970 roadrunner has original front end with the holley motor mounts etc what do i use for exhaust manifolds to fit with factory power steering gear. I would prefer not to use headers but i do not know what manifolds will fit Thanks

Following this. Thought Jeep manifolds would work. Doing a 6.4 in a 72 cuda. Have front k memeber on a jig so i can bolt trans to motor and check everything on it before sliding up. Try a couple other forums. For B bodies only?

I tried the jeep manifolds they will not fit if you are using original power steering gearbox

There might not be a cast manifold that fits that application. It was never a factory built combination so it is just going to be sheer luck if you found something that worked without modifications.

I used 2005 truck manifolds on my 65 Coronet and later went to headers.

Search 98saleen on YouTube. Friend of mine who put a 5.7 and trans out of an 06 Charger R/T in his 68 Charger. Very detailed swap. I think he used headers but lots of info. His channel is mustang heavy (his stuff is badass and fast). He went whole hog on the 68 charger and I am impressed. Drove by my house in it this morning looking and sounding good.

If you do find something that works make sure you report back. Personally, I would thing doing headers would pay for itself come time to do the rest of the exhaust and O2 setup. There are complete exhaust kits you can buy for a header-back, I don't believe they're available for manifold-back
