What stamps or numbers, if any, are stamped on original lower ball joints for an e body? I bought a set in original Chrysler boxes, however, I'm questioning if these were just stuck into original boxes and resold. I'll list a few pictures of the ones that I received.

Does anyone have a picture of a set of originals and their #s?

I recently bought NOS lowers for 1969 A body, and they had:

knock-off zerks
tri-slot nuts (one phosphated, one zinc plated)
Chrysler part numbers on the boots, as well as a nylon insert in the top of the boots.

I've had a few sets over the years that I used on previous restorations. I believe Moog was the supplier for the suspension parts 70-71. Those don't look correct to me.

Every OE Chrysler ball joint that I have ever had had a 7-digit casting number on it. And as mentioned previously the boot would ale have the OE part number molded into the rubber. I only have one pic of the casting number on the arm, plus one of the boots.

I just ckd the lowers in my car. It had NOS ball joints put in it back when restored. And they both have the OE casting number on them and the pt number on the ring of the boots as well . And the 3 star castle nuts as opposed to the 6 star aftermkt versions
