Friend of mine has been looking for a source for a 1970 CUDA repro shaker hood, but AMD stock is long gone all across the nation. He needs a one and can't find any. Even Summit is out and they were buying from other sources. Any ideas on where to get a new hood. Any Ideas?

AMD might not be making them any more. Two other suppliers that are Gold star and Goodmark I think

If you can't find a steel shaker hood , they make fiberglass versions until a steel version is available , AAR Fiberglass

Once upon a long time ago:. There used to be a kit to convert a flat hood to a Shaker. Don't remember who made or sold it but I bet there are people here that used them

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Seattle’s Ben Snobar and company. Don’t know about current availability.

Maybe Hergfest will chime in…..he knows a lot more about this than I do.
