Does anyone know the wheel options for a Hang Ten? I was told they all had rallyes (W21)? I don't believe this to be true. Dad recently picked up a '75 that has them but I believe they were added later on.

RALLYE wheels are pictured in their ads - but it is not mentioned as to part of the package or OPTIONAL scope

Our family had a Hang 10 brand new. Slant 6 with the 14" Ralley's pictured in the ad.

Just doing a Google search, most show the Rallye wheels. However, there are a few shown to be wearing the W11 wheel covers. That doesn't mean much I guess though. They could have been swapped out at some time.

Here's the page from H-H. Looks like Rallye wheels are required. Also no four speed, wow.

spank

really, YES! .... it is not mentioned in the ad I posted weather the wheels were part of the "HANG 10" package or extra cost

does posting a note from the "Sport Topper Package" represent your level of attention to detail?

the proper NOTE states that the fold-down rear seat & RALLYE wheels are REQUIRED with the HANG TEN package (although the ad states the fold-down rear seat is OPTIONAL ??)

Calm down, I had some other stuff to do.

So to continue, this original documentation disagrees with the other documentation;

Original ads are not always accurate (1971 T/A as an example).

TSBs and other documents have errors too.

So it is best to look at more than one reference.

It is a strange deal
EW-1 MUST be coded
The Rallyes are a must code, and cost extra.

It's a Schroedengers situation: a standard option with extra cost.

When I received my 78 LRE I was hugely disappointed that it didn't have the extra gauge clusters depicted in all the photos. I wonder when the "extra cost options shown" disclaimer appeared in ads?
