I was born and raised in Harrison. Went to all my k-12th grade in the Southwest Local school district - which is Harrison. My parents and sister still live there - I now live about an hour northwest in Richmond IN. Back when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's - it was a much smaller, more rural little town. In my opinion, the town planners have allowed it to get way over grown.

I had a great childhood in Harrison, and feel lucky that I grew up during the time that I did.
Do you still have your business in the Bridgetown area - I guess I assumed you lived up that way. My Grandma lived in the neighborhood kind of behind Ron's Roost!

Harrison is in Hamilton County, Ohio. If you are thinking of relocating to the area, look closely at the property taxes of Hamilton versus Butler County just to the North. The politicians in the city of Cincinnati have very successfully transferred the tax burden of the city over to the residents of the county. There are property tax levies and sales tax levies every year on the ballot. They usually pass due to a heavy concentration of liberal voters within the city. The residents of Hamilton pay for the city Zoo, bus system, museum center, light rail system, and two professional sports stadiums. You can save thousands by living in Butler, Warren or Clermont Counties, while being only a 30 minute drive from any of the amenities mentioned.
