Blue for me. But I have only stock, or slightly warmed over, engines.

what does it make your cereal taste like ? does it make you "CooCoo for CocoPuffs" ? Itβs kinda bland on cereal but when it drips off a converter bolt right into your mouth it makes you kinda tite-lipped.

On cam end play have .015 to maybe .030, any more than that look at the oil pump drive gear real closely My 1969 FSM calls for 35 Ft lbs. on the 3 bolt cam bolts in the Hemi motors That is what i use on all my 3/8 cam bolts

Have used BLUE in the past, but now I picked up some ORANGE and used on my oil pan studs (hated the thought of these things backing out on me with the engine already installed in the car).
So I'm actually contemplating using ORANGE for the cam bolt now.
Also, speaking of using thread-lock (not meaning to hijack the thread '@mopar dave'): are you guys using anything on the oil pump pickup-to-pump body?
I haven't used anything before, but now it feels like I should...??? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Permate...YcAtyo_hhcaAtiuEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.dsThe new and improved Blue Or is it the new and improved Red Are you afraid to use Red Thread locker, but need a product stronger than Blue. Permatex has developed a 1-of-akin product that combines the high strength of Red Thread locker, with the removability of Blue Thread locker. Introducing High Strength Removable Orange Thread locker. With 3 x the strength of Blue Thread locker, this hybrid formula is great for high vibration applications and will not loosen or back out over time.
