Primarily a decent HP, good torque street cruiser.

I don't suspect this to see the track often or more than a little testing here or there. But very little track use.

But it's in need or rear suspension upgrade of some sort.

I have not really messes with rear leaf suspension in 25 years. Everything I've built as of late is narrowed, 4 Lin and coil overs. So please forgive my ignorance.

Thoughts on Suoer Stock springs, cal Trac type set up, any other types I should look at?

Not building this to be an auto cross type car. Weekend cruiser, straight line acceleration etc.

Appreciate it folks

From what you describe just a new set of HD 4 speed Dana springs.

My '66 Charger is pretty close to what you describe. I run the 3800lb. SS springs with the front eye in the top hole of the bracket, and the MP shocks they recommend for that set up. Drives good on the street, and hooked up good with drag radials when I took it to the track. twocents

X3. From what you're describing, you can do alot worse than factory hi po stuff.

Thanks. Some options for sure.

Car will see mostly cruising. Only about 450hp but good torque. Needs some head work to let the cubes breath some.

Appreciate the input
