Usually, but not always. Years back, I bought a 4dr '73 Satellite that had been sitting in the owners side yard for about 15 yrs. Car had settled far enough that I had to dig next to the car to open the drivers door. Exhaust system looked like it had just been put on, frame showed zero signs of rot. Trunk floor and roof were a different matter though.......... John Imagine a '73 Satellite Wagon picture here. 😁
