I have a loose mirror glass on a right side chrome remote racing mirror. It just flops around kinda loose and won`t stay in place. Is there any way to repair them? It looks like it my be tough to take apart without damaging it. Any advice? On RS mirrors, get some thinner med. size philips s-driver and bent them to fit screws. There's only 2 screws. Slow going but has worked for me. I'm assuming it doesn't have the 3-cable arrangement like LS mirrors.

PhillyRag, Good question, I will have to check to see. So are you saying the mirror glass won`t need to be removed if I used the bent screwdrivers? Yes: 2 screws removes entire glass assembly. Then you'll have a better view of rear side & why wobble.

Which side are you working on? Your thread title says Drivers side and in the thread it says right side. The bent screwdriver trick will only work on the passenger side mirror. for the passenger side sorry, forgot to correct it.
