I have a Rb engine with a aftermarket stroker crank and have been having a tough time finding flex plate bolts. Summit and Jegs won’t have them till April and my local engine builders don’t have them either. Bolt has to have a thin head to clear the torque converter.

Mancini and rosewood don’t have them either.

May have to look at McMaster carr or fastenal.

And places you guys know about?

I'm going to assume 8 bolts, 1/2"-20. ARP 200-2905

There are a few around. ebay, some smaller shops and sellers. transmission shops, etc.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Several sets on ebay. Coan shows them. Not a lot around. You find them, you better grab them. Prolly next month before the big guys have them.

I didn't look for any cheapies.

Coan doesn’t have them. 440 source doesn’t either,
I can’t find them on eBay.
Could you send me a link?

As a last resort, you may consider doing what I do; get the right length Grade 8 bolts from the hardware store. Chuck them up in a drill and grind the head down on a bench grinder. Doesn't take too long and is a darned sight cheaper than the packaged flex plate bolts. Works for the converter bolts, too. twocents

I had the same problem last June. ARP said they were 12 weeks out. If they still don't have them, yes I would wonder if they get them from China????
I ended up taking grade 8 bolts and have them cut down on a lathe. Getting parts these days is a joke!

Same problem in 2020, no arp head bolts for Gen 2 hemi with Edelbrock heads for the forseeable future,
and not available on the shelf anywhere. I'd really rather have rather used bolts but studs were a few dollars less for
no particular reason and were available sooner.

I'm pretty sure most companies are plenty busy making LS stuff just as fast as they can sell it.

Found a set at a small speed shop. But our next move was to chuck some bolts up in a lathe.
