Typical 70 E-body
All steel, 383, 4-speed, power steer.
I have 1.00" T bars, 15-inch front wheels, and am going to add a sway bar.
Not planning on driving like Sam Posey.

So.

Koni red maybe, or even......................KYB?

Koni's, RCD prepped Bilstien's from Firm Feel. Monroe's if its just a basic stocker, but looks like you upgraded to bigger TB's so go with one of those 2.

Thanks CK, yes I did increase the T-bars.
The car had no sway bar, I'm definitely adding one but not sure how thick,
I don't know what size came on BB cars that had one, so I don't know what an upgrade would be.

I thought the shocks sort of had to "go with" a given size T-bar.

Hellwig front bar, Koni shocks. You can get it all from Summit.

I like QA1 single adjustables. They worked great from stock suspension, to big torsions and sway bars.

Well, crap....When Andy responds, we might as well just bow out!
The guy wrote books on this stuff!
The Bilsteins seem great to me but I can't claim to know that they are better than Koni. They sure are better than the infamous KYB shocks!

Bilsteins are a great shock but they cost roughly the same as the Koni shocks and the Koni shocks are adjustable. Up front I think Koni is a better deal. Out back can be a different story since the Koni shocks require some custom work to make them fit.
