On a 1970 Challenger

if equipped are the body side moldings stick / glue on .
Or do they have the welded pins along the body line

1970 Barracuda/'cuda are stick on up

1970 Challenger is a combination of holes & pins on the fenders/doors/quarters

Pins were for areas where there was no rear surface readily accessible.

So, Im guessing the longitudinal stripe would NOT cover these pins / holes if removed???

Pins are spot welded, you'll need to grind them off, as well as fill the holes in the door corners, IIRC when I removed them from my Challenger, there's 2 holes on the doors at each end, one hole at the end of the rear qtr, and one hole at the fender in the front jamb area, along with dozens of stinking pins.... chances of the longitudinal stripe covering your pin/hole removal 50/50?, IMHO I think the pins/holes will fall right between the upper void between the upper border stripe and the middle longitudinal I assume your trying to avoid paint work?

Thanks Mike.

Yes.
Am looking at a car that has the mldgs.
I had a feeling the stripe idea wasn't going to work for my intentions.
