Hi DC lovers!

Us folks of a certain age will remember ‘Direct Connection’ lol.
It was a different era and the DC catalogue was like Mopar porn... spank

I have a set of DC hemi roids here P2531597 that are stock 440 length. (6.768)
Unbushed with 1.094 small end diameter, 7/16 rod bolts etc.

Anyone got any info on these at all?

I just saw that DC is going to be all new again for 2022 how nice... XmasTruck

Back in the day I know that shot-peening was one process that was contracted for prepping rods for "DC". I highly doubt something was made with different metallurgy if that's being considered. I'd verify c-2-c if you plan to use them but they are still inferior to probably all aftermarket rods available today. The hemi rod had more overall cross-section and a c-2-c of 6.86" IHTH

That rod was the premium rod back in the day. Polished and shot peeled.
I have 12 brand new ones if you are interested.

I don’t know what DC was thinking but they should have just used the Hemi rod bolts too. If I recall you can’t machine these rods to accept them either. confused
