Looking for all new OEM style weatherstripping for '85 D150. who's a good source? Best bang for buck. Not looking for the most expensive, nor the cheapest, for sake of bragging either way.
and I remember there being a difference in back window weatherstrip on these, for solid back window vs slider vs OEM slider vs aftermarket slider??? What is different among them?
truck currently has original solid back window. I have a late 80s/early 90s factory slider window to go back in.
Need the lock strips too/ Who do you guys get yours from? Prefer USA made/ definitely something other than made in China!!!

Depending on what exactly you are looking for some weatherstripping is not reproduced so not much choice there. I believe the factory subbed the sliders from C.R. Laurence
may check there. A few other places for weatherstripping...

For weather stripping that may no longer be reproduced, often you can but the rubber shaped in the form you need, at the correct size, from generic rubber supply outlets like JC Whitney (really) and others, at by the foot prices. Get the length you need, then use superglue to connect the ends. It may not be the best stuff, but it is sure better then nothing.

Weatherstripping is expensive! Gene

I bought seal and lock strip with end pieces from Ebay. It worked fine. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr..._nkw=dodge+truck+lock+strip&_sacat=0

I'm pretty sure that this is the only manufacturer of rubber products for the older dodge trucks.

https://www.prp.com/

everyone else is likely re-selling Precision's products.

No one makes the weatherstrip for the factory slider. Haven't seen an NOS one for sale in a very long time. The windshield gaskets suck, they are too small and a total pain in the butt to install. The solid rear window gasket is the same as a Ford part, no lock strip in that. Wing window seals for the 87-93 are also not available and the early window belt weatherstrips are terrible as well. The straight ones. Channel runs are ok but you may find some of the trucks don't have the holes for the pins installed in the run so they have to be removed. The on body door weatherstrips seem to be to thick as the doors don't want to close well. Some are really bad like my crew cab. So bad after replacing one I took it back out, no amount of adjustment could get the door to close.
In short yeah new weatherstrips are nice but the available offerings leave something to be desired. I wouldn't replace any you don't have to.

I’m a little confused on the part names, I need the ‘fuzzys’ on a 88, the piece that rides against the glass at bottom of glass opening (the piece that scratches your arm when window is down) proper name? Are these available?

Window belt mouldings or weatherstrips and they are available, unless it's for the rear door of a crew cab. Then you have to modify the front door pieces to fit the rear door.
Edit; actually anything for the rear door of a crew cab isn't available. Front door parts have to be modified to fit.
