Does anyone have an update on acquiring engine swap mounts? ( With Schumacher kits no longer available)
I’m in need of a set to swap out a /6 in a ‘70 Dart to install a ‘70 318 engine. I found Trans-Dapt at Summit racing, but
not sure if the Trans-Dapt brand are as high a quality as the original Schumacher mounts…

I have a new in box schumacher kit in my warehouse somewhere but I'm not sure exactly what kit it is. Big block in a A body maybe but I'll find it and post the part number soon.

magnum swaps has a procedure where you use a sb truck bracket on pass side and reg a body v8 bracket on drivers side. it mounts it where it needs to be.

I used the Trans-Dapt ones to install a 360 in my 1969 Barracuda that is an original /6 car. The fit and finish were fine.

As far I know Schumacher just changed of owner and they will be making their mount adaptors again soon

If anyone is in need, I have a 440 source package for 66-72 b and 70-74 e for bb swap to v8 k's. Nib. Could not use since the Indy block has Hemi style mounting. PM me if interested.

Now that’s good news! Chris I hope you are advertising in the new stuff area of moparts and the general topics area too. Schumacher has been fantastic to work with over the years. Glad to see this company coming back online. Do the name proud.

I’m listening.

I'll have to swing over there and make a post. I'm keeping all the manufacturing here in the USA, as well as spacing US made hardware where I can. Quality is of the utmost importance. 🙂

Nope, we moved everything down to Southern California so I can keep it under one roof with my other shop. 🙂
