My 13 year old son got his first hot rod! He has been working hard saving his $$$. Now he will have no money to get in to any real trouble because all of his money will go to gas, insurance and the rest will go to parts. He will start to bracket race it when he becomes of age. Currently has a 383. He will be on here under Mopar Dylan asking a lot of questions.

Nice start. By what I see in the background, I'm guessing you are in east county? Used to live in Ramona for 22 years.

I keep coming back to this post, the car your son purchased is supper cool and super nice!! I am so happy for you and him, I don't even know you but i am just genuinely happy for you guys!!! I was shocked when my son at age 18 dragged home a 67 belvedere.
I think we have done something good keeping our boys in the hobby!!!
Thank you Kiddart

is that a 1966 or 1967? How good does the air conditioning work? I have a 1966 Coronet Deluxe 2 door sedan slant six 3 on the tree and a 7 1/4 rear end that I bought out of a local tow yard and made a frame up street hotrod out of with a 440 3.9 stroke pump gas motor, NP833 O.D. tranny and a Dana 60 rear end with 3.54 gears. I need to have the front end aligned now so I can drive it this year to see how I did
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Thanks for all the kind comments. Car needs a little TLC. It needs rewiring and alignment to start. Once this is done we can slowly go through the car and do things as he saves money. I believe he is happy with his purchase.
