dssaa OP super stock D Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 954 Colorado	So we got the torque converter thing situated....now have another question...probably a pretty dumb one at that. I am putting a 1975 360 in a 1979 Truck. Do I use the 1975 rubber mounts, or the 1979 mounts. Looks like they changed in 1979...and thinking thats why my engine and trans are not lining up correctly. I put the 1975 version on...thinking I need the 1979's, as they are a little different. ??? Dave in Colorado

I had a 77 360 from a 4x4 ramcharger that I rebuilt. The 84 was a 6 cylinder 4x4 originally. I used everything from the 77 and dropped it right in.
