I have it ever since a softball injury (ran down at homeplate by a "gentleman" that was bigger than my 6'1"- 260) left me with the first 2 vertebra leaning right, the second 2 leaning left, and the rest going straight up. Before I was talked into a gentle chiropractor, it got so bad I would drag my leg like the old Mummy did. Driving 25 mi. home from work was almost unbearable. Keep it pretty well in check with monthly chiropractor visits.
I wish I could use an inversion table (SIL has one) but since I've had both knees replaced it's verboten.
An occasional twinge is usually helped with some stretching as Mr. Potatohead suggested.

Is THAT what this is?? Sciatica? Good grief.

I didn't have any plans with friends or family on Christmas and decided to go for a ride. I ended up driving from Glen Burnie to Ocean City--120 miles--and back, with only about a 50-minute layover, and I didn't use the cruise control as much as I usually do on that return trip.
Went to bed about five hours after I got home and suddenly felt like someone was trying to rip my right leg off.

I took another long drive yesterday, but not as long and with a couple of stops to take photos and get gas, and had less severe symptoms, but my hip's still bugging me.

Thats almost exactly how I describe mine, I felt like a shark had me and was trying to remove my legs.

Get a couple gel filled ice packs and use them every two hours for 20 min.

Find a good chiropractor.

I got a lot of rest over the holidays , it was just killing me ( back pain ) .. went and bought new better quality shoes .. felt better right away, couple days later I went my local farm store picked up a fairly light item
tturned around heard a big snap ..

and after fighting my back, multiple trips to bone cracker , it popped into place ?


Its still real sore and stiff but, its way better than its been for months
