I have a #52 K-member, I'm seeing conflicting info on what engines it was used with.

Please have a look at the attachments.

I would like to put in a big block. Will that work ?

Hmm, I guess you have to click on the TXT file to see it.

All V8's (except Hemi) can use same K-frame

As far as I know, the "coins" were only used on Hemi/Six Pack k-members (at least in b bodies). They have a skid plate welded on them, about 3 inches tall roughly, WOW interesting stuff below. I had no idea

OK thanks fellers, I guess I'm safe.

I got this K-frame separate, my 70 BCuda project had a 225-6 and a 10 coin.

I have two 340 AAR Cudas and they both have the 52 coin. I have a late 340 Cuda with the 52 coin as well. I’ve got several other k frames that I have not really checked the coins. It will work with a big block.

Aren't the coins simply the last two digits of the part number??

The 3583052 K-frame was introduced during the 1970 model year (replacing the 2962012 K-frame)

The 52 was used on E-bodies with 318s, 340, 340-6 and 383 engines.

5e coins started in mid model year 1970.

The 52 doesn’t have a skid plate from the factory, but the aftermarket has been selling skid plates for years.
