Damn, I had forgotten all about that Outland cartoon.  Might be the best cartoon ever. Bloom County, Outland, and Opus were all slightly different adaptations of the same strip/characters. Very funny. Anyway, this is one of my all time favorite Far Sides...I had a framed version on the wall of the Minuteman III maintenance shop I worked in when I was in the service back in the early 90s. Commander thought it was funny...

Two things: C&H was my Dad's FAVORITE comic strip ever. (RIP Dad December 2019)
And, my old boss & great lifelong friend now went to school with Bill Waterman - Cleveland area. Their 1976 yearbook cover was penned by Waterman. My old boss said Waterman was a funny guy, & seemed like nobody special back then, but he was a talented cartoonist!
Yes - C&H was a great one, & I also LOVED the Far Side. Here is one of my favorite Far Sides:
It's actually Bill Watterson. My mom was friends with Bill's mom, Kathy. He's from my hometown of Chagrin Falls, OH. Calvin's mom is basically Bill's mom.
'67 is an abbreviation of 1967
67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet
They are not interchangeable.
