I need to order some pump gas pistons for my KB wedge 572 C.I. (4.500x4.500) B1 build, I'm debating between Diamond, Ross or maybe CP. I'm not trying to make an all out drag race or any type of race motor so the trick of the day is not needed. I'm thinking 1/16,1/16, 3/16 ring sizes with standard tension oil rings and maybe a better 2nd ring like a Napier design. Who do you B1 guys like for this type of piston? All help appreciated

I've talk to KB Icon, and Ross so far. KB, United Machine doesn't make a reverse dome B1 piston so far, flat top with valve reliefs only I use to be on a deal with Diamond, Arias, SRP, Comp Cams and several others but with all the corporate buys out and my lack of volume sells this last year I'm not sure who to use now

Just ordered a set from Diamond 4 week delivery What was the cost? With or without rings? Pin wall thickness? Extra $ features? (skirt coating, crown coating, gas ported, lightened, etc)

A shelf piston, really ??? Wow, look at that, so that’s a $600 upgrade on a kit, like $1200 for them
