i did it to a 1407. don't see any reason it can't be done to a 800. i put factory choke parts on the carb in the photos to use on a stock iron intake. also changed out the primary throttle shaft.

to hook all the stuff up to a stock intake then all mopar factory choke parts make it very easy. the cross shaft that connects both sides is longer on factory than edelbrocks. i had donner parts and basically i just copied a factory install. it works. Does anyone reproduce the shaft? I have the triangle shaped piece for the end of the choke rod, and it looks like both the vacuum and mechanical pull offs are repopped.
