LED 4x2 panel lights, I’ll let you know how they work.

The shop is 48’x32’ with 13’ ceiling just enough room for the tall two post lift.

Thank You!

Hey Keepat I really can't tell on your both your doors but the lower panels on the left door seem to be bent in the middle. I had the same thing and it's the door bending in the middle when it opens. It will end up tearing the panels open. I didn't have a clue since I use the same jackshaft openers you do. I didn't catch it until I unhooked it and operated it by hand.

The fix is to add struts to door. At less that $25 each I just added them to each panel.

Thanks for the note, and good eyes! Actually the bottom panel is bent from the previous owner closing the door by stepping on that lip.
My garage door opener man is coming back as soon as I put a coat of paint on the outside of the door to readjust the springs for the new weight of the doors.
Thank You!
Pat

We are registered for the HotRod power tour this June. Kurt in his Bullitt Mustang and me in the Bullitt Charger. I’m excited to hit the open road with both car! It will be about 2800 miles round trip. It’s been about 9 years since going on the tour with Kurt’s Mustang.
Thanks
Pat

New shop update. The power is on, floors are polished and sealed, lift is installed, wall cabinets installed, and the heat/air system up and running! I will be installing the base cabinets this weekend. Should be ready for my car projects soon!
Thanks
Pat

Pat, I use the Mitsubishi split units in my garage and great room. I spent a little extra and got the H2i hyper heat pump so it would work if weather got super cold. 100% @ 5 and 74% @ -13. Even so they work so much better above 32 and for air. My inside units are the fancy 9K and 18K that work off the 1 outside multi zone 24BTU unit. Is yours multi zone or do you have 2 outside units? Are you using it for heat and air or just air?

These are the units I have. https://skipthewarehouse.com/mitsubishi-mxz3c24nahz2u1-24000-btu-hyper-heat-heat-condenser Great looking garage. Mike

Mike, The Mitsubishi mini split‘s are amazing units so efficient and produce heat in very low temperatures where traditional heat pumps struggle. I have a single 36K unit outside feeding the two 18k air handler‘s
Thanks
Pat

I use a lot of Sunpro lights, they are awesome. I’ve not used the flat panels yet. I just put up some of their other shop lights this past fall and already bought enough to do the other bay. They really look good.

The power tour with the bullitt duo is off the hook. Mega kudos on that.

I want my fair share

I am also very happy with the shop lights. Was concerned that they would be too bright so I put them on three different switches.
Thank You!
Pat

Just finished reading the May issue of the Mopar Collector Guide and got a cool surprise. On the second to the last page they tell you what’s coming up in the next issue. I see a picture of my car on the top right hand corner with the caption Modernized Bullitt 1968 Charger tribute car. Looking forward to the next issue;-)
Thanks
Pat

I saw that this week and instantly thought of this thread. Pumped to see the write up.

Shop update, All cabinet and countertops are installed. I labeled each cabinet & drawer in alphabetical order using car emblems. The 3 tool cabinets I used engine displacement emblems from Pontiac, Dodge, & Ford. I’m not sure if it will help me remember where stuff is, but I think it looks cool;-)
Thanks

If I had a 318 emblem I'd send it to you for unmarked drawer.
