Back to topic, how the heck would you shift the transfer case? It would almost have to be electronic control. work

Since it's already leaf springs, a live front axle would be easy. Blocks in rear to level. Transfer case might be tricky a divorce case shouldn't be too hard to add.

T case linkage would be the easiest part of the conversion l

Would the unibody handle the abuse?

It probably wouldn't be a great thing to do mud bogs or those monster truck jumps with, and I probably wouldn't put a snow plow on one, but as far as just being a 4x4 truck or van, I wouldn't see a problem.

If you want, it probably would be easier to set the tub onto an already built 4x4 chassis, then you could get as serious as you dare to go.

Years ago someone posted theirs on sweptline.org, but the pictures are gone. I think the position of the transfer case would be similar to a Forward Control Jeep.
