Yes, I still have The MoPig and, yes, it's still a work in progress. The good news is it's basically down to reassembly of the front suspension and putting the sheet metal back on. Pics later, possibly...
In the meantime, there is now a Challenger 1320 in the driveway that will do occasional commuting and trips to the track. First new car we've actually bought for me in 20 years, too.
Yeah, Santa came early at my house.

Ahhhhh... no, the kids aren't even listed as authorized drivers on the 1320's insurance policy. See Andy, you kept telling me to try EFI and I finally listened!

Lots of fun!
I drove a friend's ScatPack Challenger a couple of weekends ago and it was very impressive.

MoPig status pics, although nothing's really changed in a couple of months... and too bleeping' cold to work in an unheated garage.
Engine on stand, then when we bolted on the trans and slid 'em into the engine bay (from underneath).

Frame needed work before anything went back together: - repaired rusted out front frame rail on driver's side - repaired rusted out rear frame rail on driver's side - added front inner fender reinforcements (visible in some of the pics) - added radiator core support brace (visible in pic of front of engine) - probably something else that slips my mind at the moment... + + + +

A 1320 would be fun for sure. You could go to the track with a full tank of gas and never get out of the car hammering out passes! I think they are hard to cut a light with but I would love to have one to bracket race every weekend.
My sister in law has a 2020 scat pack but it is a 6 speed and not an automatic. It was incredibly hard to leave with at the track but I had fun making a few passes in it. On one of the passes I got murdered by a 1320 challenger, I stopped the bleeding about 1/2 track but he was already gone.

Sliding the engine and trans in from below saves a lot of hassle, especially if you can do it with the headers installed. I can see that not only did you not take my advice on EFI, you didn't take my advice on using the smaller and lighter Denso 60 amp alternator! Project looks good, nice to have the repairs done and the reinforcements in place.

I think I gave up trying to sell Brad an aluminum master cylinder adapter sometime around 1994 or something Nice to see you with the new ride Brad, as I know the drag pak program and Gen 3 stuff has been of great interest for several years.

Nice car and welcome back.
There is clearly a source of heat in that garage. One of these days you will take my advice and insulate/drywall your workspace lol.
Zippy did you sell him the viscous fan package lol?

The 1320 Package is only available w/ an auto cuz it's got a factory-equipped trans brake. However, it seems like a lot of owners don't bother with it cuz it's a PITA to work... and people seem to be going about the same ETs foot-braking them. Here's a video on How To Use The Trans Brake. Only one way to know for sure...

It's got a whopping 261 miles on it right now. I'm enjoying simply driving the car and haven't given much thought to whether or not I'll try the trans brake.
The 1320 gets a lot of trickle down tech from the SRT Demon, so it's likely been subjected to a lot more power than the lowly NA 6.4 L.
