a12rag master Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 2,915 Calgary, Alberta Canada	Uhhh . . . you can try wrapping electrical tape around a "can opener" and then very very very carefully use that to pry up on the chrome . . . I have done that in past, just gotta go slow, use lots of tape on the can opener and you should be able to get off without denting

burdar Owen's Dad Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 7,363 Iowa	What are you working on? On my Challenger, the drip rail trim is held on with screws and comes right off. The weather stripping channel has to be removed first to access the drip rail screws.

Neil The Doctor is in. Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,483 Eagle, Idaho	Windows rolled down with a block of wood as a drift and lightly hammer up and outward along the bottom edge works too sometimes. Takes several passes to get it off without kinking it or denting it. Bottle opener works, but be careful as it can leave marks too.

Just a update. the above worked perfectly! Entire car took less than 15 minutes, and not one ding/bend. Thanks everyone, now added to my weird stuff drawer.
