When the Christmas rush hits with all the shippers, I predict some won't get packages mailed in December until February 2022. Here is the tracking from one of the latest packages I'm getting via USPS. I wonder where it's going to go next:

You're more optimistic than me.

Following the trail of inefficiency and ineptness I would say your package should be in Baltimore on Wednesday, Friday, last Tuesday and then on to Fairbanks Alaska.

I filed for a missing package trace with USPS a few months ago. I got an email 7 days later with the heading, no lie, Congratulations your missing package issue has been resolved. The resolution? We can't find it. If we can help you with another matter please feel free to contact us. And this was before they announced slow downs. My advice is pay the extra bucks for Fedex or UPS if you have a choice.

Lots of packages these days are being moved via truck rather then air.
Believe it was a change to cut down costs to sent via commercial air.
So you see more city-city-city movement rather then city-city.

There is no excuse for . People need to learn to read and do their jobs. The USPS wonders why they lose money. Incompetent fools.

We've been having a major issue with FedEx where the driver will state he left the package on our porch, but never delivered it. Multiple times we never received it, had to get refunded and reordered, and twice we ended up getting it randomly two weeks later. Doesn't help when ALL of FedEx customer service is overseas in Asia or the Philippines.

I'm real worried for ordering parts from someone where a replacement may not be an option.

How many truckloads can a jet carry? I suspect there's another back-room deal at the root of that.
