Who was the engine builder, head porter that lived in Ohio that passed away several years ago. I only talked to him twice and bought a set of T&D rockers for my 440-1 heads. Seemed like a real nice guy and I can’t remember his name.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Sounds like NIck Wilson, His son Nick Jr. is still doing that work, and he is very good at it. I was there over the summer, my buddy was picking up a new KB motor.

Yes thank you. He had the set of rockers advertised so I called him and he asked where I saw the ad. He looked up the ad and gladly honored the price. Then I think he took down the ad. Lol

Nice to be remembered as a 'GOOD GUY'... I hope one day they will talk about me like that? Medium-John 'the head porter' lol... All I got to do now is build a 9 second Duster with a Brodix small-block (on a pensioners budget)lol...
Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero, thanx Horace!
There’s no point trying to fix stuff that ain’t broke,,, 'but if ain’t broke',,, you is not trying hard enough...

We have lost a lot of good guys over the years. And a lot that are getting up in age.

I really miss talking to Nick and hearing his no-nonsense approach to engines and building race cars. He would never steer you to anything that wouldn't make you car faster or better in every way. From what I hear Nick Jr. is keeping the good name alive Gus

Would they still be selling the billet timing covers Nick was previously doing?
