I thought this piece also got cosmoline also. Wasn't this piece attached when it went through that process?

From what I understand it was dipped and then put on the car. So I think I should be.

being that the dip line is out by the spindle you would think that part should have been dipped also.

I believe the main structure of the lower control arm was dipped, then the adjustment lever along with the new bushing and rod were pressed in afterwards. I would think you wouldn't want cosmoline all over the rubber bushing... Just my thoughts on the process..

When I cleaned up my arms they had cosmoline on them, also found cosmoline on the adjusting screws. Think the only thing to get pressed in after the dip was the bushing

The adjuster arm is captured in the assembly, it
should have cosmoline.

Rick is correct. How and why would they go thru the extra effort to install the adjusting arm after the assy was put together?I have a few pairs of NOS arms that are completely dipped in cosmoline up to the ball joint rivet.

I don't know but logically it would have the coating on it.

I would think they would not want to work with a sticky coated part when driving the bushing in...

Just logically

My complete arm including the adjusting bolt were covered, but the shaft had no signs of any cosmoline at all.

Heck, I can't even follow my own work.. Luckily I didn't have a momentary lapse of judgement when I redid mine, I "coated" my adjusters as well.. Duhh...
