I believe the main structure of the lower control arm was dipped, then the adjustment lever along with the new bushing and rod were pressed in afterwards. I would think you wouldn't want cosmoline all over the rubber bushing... Just my thoughts on the process..

Heck, I can't even follow my own work.. Luckily I didn't have a momentary lapse of judgement when I redid mine, I "coated" my adjusters as well.. Duhh... Troy
