I'm home today checking out this show I haven't seen before.The guy fixes up alot of Mopars!Great show!

Ohh man.. roadrunners,coronets,chargers on his property very cool!

And cudas,darts and duster, demons.

The last show of the season he puts the place for sale.
Also he puts junk used motors in most cars
But does do spray bomb rebuilds so that tells you about his restorations.

I read that Mike Hall held an auction a few weeks ago and sold about 400 cars. He kept about 50 of them.

Yup . . . apparently he did not get title to the land he bought . . . and owner was selling out from under him . . . had to sell all and move . . .

He built that large shop on someone else's land?
From looking at the show I assumed he was there quite some time.
And he stated he was in to it for millions invested.
But.that may have been like all the other shows if we do not finish this car we are going to loose the shop.
On a side note I remember laughing at Tony when him and Lucky are working on a car on one of the Hot Rod shows he says just that.
If we don't finish the car we are going to lose the shop as a dig on other shows.
I am hoping Wheeler Dealers is better tonight. Last week's car was a dud.
I liked when they worked on American stuff in California

Yup, in some of the last episodes you can hear him talk about the land owner - whom he had handshake deal with - talk of selling the land, and screwing Mike. Mike made his money doing high scaling of rock on the British Columbia highways . . . was on a few episodes of Highway thru Hell. It was his "hobby" to collect all the cars, and then start to "restore" them . . . actually he even had the land and all the cars, up for sale, years ago for something like $4million . . .

Typical "drama" - gotta get this finished by this time, or we lose money . . . etc, etc . . .

I thought the show was entertaing.It was great to see all the cool mopars!

I kind of enjoy the show. I can't stand the Canadian Ron Jeremy's laugh, however. The Canadian Dee Snyder? He seems ok. As artists, both seem to work with filth like others work in water colors. No that I got it all my darn self...

That's funny the 1st time my wife looked at the show she said it is Ron Jeremy's Brother and a Milli Vanilli want to be.

I enjoyed the show too but nothing great and the Lincoln he took in to do a resto on and quoted the guy $15k.....I thought to myself you can't properly paint the car for that much! I did enjoy the Mopars.

The show is okay. However, the cars seem to be completed almost magically...😀

on most of the shows nowadays, it seems cars get done in an hour or less ! it's magic for sure !

And they're GARBAGE. AND by his son's own admission (I frequent their Facebook page) most of the sales are not real sales. They're just made up for the show.

That pink Swinger is the only car of theirs I've seen in person and it was a DOGS Breakfast. It was a melange of miscellaneous 1970 through 1975 parts and those of us hip to the early 70's A-body's know none of that stuff interchanges. The paint looked OK, but we'll see how it holds up in years to come. My biggest peeve was he couldn't even be bothered to make sure he had the correct turn signal covers on the grille. '70 is silver, '71 is black. He had silver turn signal covers on a black grille. They're definitely NOT a "details oriented" shop.

I tried to buy some AMC parts off Mike years ago and was told "No parts, whole cars". When I told him I had no truck, no trailer and no room for another car, I just got barked at "Then whatt're ya phoning me for?" and got hung up on. And yet other folks I know, love him and defend him 'til the end of time. One of my buddies has even been featured ON the show a couple times and his kid thinks Mike is GOD.

I dunno. It all just seems strange to me.

That holds true for any reality TV show, its all staged. They just are not very good at faking it.

I thought that clown looked familiar. Should have stuck to blasting rocks IMHO.

All I have to do is look at the condition of any shop and that will tell me to pass or not. If it's a sh!thole the work they do will reflect that. Glad to see I am not the only one that thinks that dude looks like Ron Jeremy, lol.

I guess there's more than one hedgehog!
