I seriously considered buying your car before it was restored back around 2005 when it was out in California. I can share a few pre-restoration photos if you haven't seen them. I'd guess it's still an original sheet metal car.

For sure

I have no knowledge of the previous sale price, but if I remember correctly it was an unadvertised sale. My pure guess from that is that it was had for a very good price from someone who had it sitting for a long time. If I had to guess I'd think in the low-mid 30s but I could be way off.

I think I have them. The previous own sent me a few prior to restoration. Thanks!

Asking price was reduced to $50k. Paint condition is the biggest factor?

I'm not sure why it hasn't sold. There's been a ton of people reaching out to him over the last few weeks about it but no one ever shows up or follows through... I find it very strange. I don't think anyone has even come to see it yet. I'm hoping someone grabs it before I have to buy it myself. It's a very cool car.

You haven't had one of those yet have you Chris? That's a V code car that you can drive the hell out of, just like it is.

You're 100% right. It would be a great car for me to drive around as is and not worry about. I just wish I wasn't juggling 10 other things right now.

Cool car for sure, likely hasn't sold yet due to some condition issues for a lot of buyers ( paint / detailing / low options , Non matching ). It appeals to the guys who like original metal and want to drive the heck out of it.
But as mentioned most of them are either deep in their own projects or not willing (or have ) $50K to shell out for it.

Personally, I don't do manual drum brakes, and manual steering any more, especially in 71 model years.
Bench seat doesn't bother me much, but the crack in the dash does. Everyone's got their pet peeves about a car's condition.
I'm sure the car will sell eventually.

Eric Im thinking wrong steering wheel all together no decor package so should have basic wheel with round horn hub Wiosh i had the funds and space for this one!

Agreed, wrong wheel altogether for a non A87 car. I like the car, but it's not really a survivor and 50K is a stretch.

Agreed, and the other car came from California as well. I own a B7 V Code car and really would like these cars to bring a lot more than they do.
