I had run over to Lowes to pick up stuff for working on the new garage and this passed me on a trailer so I had to take some pics.

Cobra Daytona Coupe.

I have no idea if it was the real thing or a replica, either way it's cool. up

Cool indeed.
Gotta be a replica, with originals priced in the multiple-million-dollar range (There's only 6 true original cars, IIRC).
Replicas ain't exactly cheap, either, especially in aluminum.

There is a blue one I saw here at the east side of Boise out past the airport a few years ago, but I think it's one of those Factory Five replicacars. Still neat looking regardless.

Yep, seen a few Factory Five variations on BaT.

I do like those better than the Factory Five Cobras.

Just saw one over the weekend. https://simeonemuseum.org/collection/1964-shelby-cobra-daytona-coupe/
Nice collection of cars. Even a Superbird!

The one at Simeone is 2287, the 1st built, only unrestored example left, and has a significant competition history.
It's the one Phil Spector bought and became central to one of the weirdest sagas in automotive history as well.
Basically a religious artifact among the Cobra guys.

There is a Cobra Daytona coupe replica out here that shows up from time to time at the cars and coffee events.

Im told the owner races it quite regularly in vintage road course events around the area

The 3 roadsters look like they may have been used in the Ford vs Ferrari filming.
Timeframe kinda fits, and a buddy of mine who lives not too far from Willow Springs described something like that going past his property.

They have brought it to the Philly auto show - so cool to see up close.

Looks like Hagerty may own it. Has Michigan plates on it from what I can tell.
