There were a number of posts that referenced that the '69 383 Dart covers were similar to the '67 GTX but never elaborated on the differences. What are the differences between the '67 covers and the '69 covers? "We live in a time when intelligent people are being silenced so that stupid people won't be offended".

These are 68 Dart Those are not 67-68 covers, they are 69. 67-68 covers had a chrome tab on the passenger side that held the clip around the heater hoses. In 1969 that was deleted as the hoses were longer and held on by a clip that screwed to the inner fender. I have not found anything yet that can remove that crap. I even tried adhesive remover and a 3M stripe off wheel and it doesn't do much. I am surprised there is not some kind of chemical that can remove that stuff easily... I tried cleaning one up right after the fire in 2013 and didn't want to hurt it so I just put them away... If they are identical except for the chrome and it has to be correct AND shiny, the maybe not cheap solution for an unobtainium cover is a plating shop. Kevin

My 68 has what appeared to be bare coated hardware (anchor) on the valve covers. I don't think there were any studs although I could be remembering incorrectly.
