A Lokar would work with around a 34" line.You can measure with a rope or wire to check the length for where you want the end. PS: The pic is with the short GM connector but in a 727 and will be close to the same placement.

I bought a powerglide steel tube with locking dipstick and cut out a section of the tube and used 3/4 multi purpose rubber hose to be able to make it go where I wanted it to go. Those Lokar are flexable put are a pain to fill trans through the 1/2 hole in them.

Sorry, late in reply but I have always used a lokar in my glide.

Just make sure you double check the fluid level marking. They can be off.

Should be 3/4 inch above the pan rail when its installed in the trans.
